Dear all,

we have installed MGOS on Windows Server 2016 and the only thing that doesn’t work is the Save/Validate of a layer.

This is the error that MG Maestro generate :

********************************************************************************

Error - Error_General_ValidationError: Failed in validator:

Errore del server remoto: (559) MgInvalidRepositoryTypeException.:

We have already spent a couple of days without result ... :(

Do you have any suggestions to give us?

Thank you so much,

I already replied to this, but just in case anyone on the mailing list is
reading this:

Issue is this: https://github.com/jumpinjackie/mapguide-maestro/issues/58

Workaround (until I release 6.0m9) is: Turn off auto-validation on save
(Tools - Options - "Editors" tab - Un-tick "Validate on Save"). Validating
any session-based layers is broken until 6.0m9 is released.

- Jackie

Fabio,

I have been working to update a client from AIMS 2013 to MGOS 3.1 since November as there’s custom code and had some issues. Are you using IIS10? This proved too large a stumbling block and after much experimentation the decision was made to switch to Apache. Once that was done there have been no issues.

You could also try using one of your own SHP files to see if you’re able to save/validate a new layer rather than one of the samples.

Kind Regards,

Lisa
